This garlic flatbread is a lifesaver when you’re short on time but craving something warm and satisfying. Made with a pourable liquid dough, it’s soft, garlicky, and ready in minutes—no yeast, no kneading, and no fuss!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp plain yogurt (optional, for softness)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (plus extra for cooking)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (or 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Optional: chopped parsley, chili flakes, or grated cheese for topping
Instructions:
- Make Batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, water, yogurt (if using), olive oil, garlic, and salt until smooth and pourable—like pancake batter.
- Heat Pan: Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Cook Flatbread: Pour half the batter into the hot pan and spread gently into a circle. Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles form and the bottom is golden.
- Flip & Finish: Flip and cook the other side for 1–2 minutes until lightly browned.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with herbs, chili flakes, or cheese while hot. Repeat with remaining batter.
