CABBAGE AND EGGS

Introduction:
Cabbage and eggs is a quick, humble dish that’s surprisingly delicious. With tender sautéed cabbage and fluffy scrambled eggs, it’s a budget-friendly meal that’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner—ready in just 15 minutes!


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic (optional)
  • Optional: green onions or chili flakes for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Sauté Cabbage: Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion (if using) and sauté for 2 minutes. Add cabbage and cook for 5–7 minutes until softened and slightly golden. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic.
  2. Add Eggs: Push cabbage to one side of the pan. Crack in the eggs and scramble gently until just set.
  3. Combine: Stir eggs into the cabbage and cook for 1 more minute, mixing everything together.
  4. Serve: Enjoy warm, topped with green onions or chili flakes if desired. Great on its own or served with toast or rice.
