Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake 1 hour 10 minutes – 1 hour 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan and cool completely.

Mix:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Drizzle over cooled cake.
