Ingredients
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Powdered sugar OR crushed vanilla cookies (for coating)
Instructions
- Make the lemon ganache:
In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and butter until just simmering.
Pour over white chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit 2 minutes. - Add lemon flavor:
Stir until smooth. Mix in lemon zest + lemon juice. - Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm enough to scoop. - Form balls:
Scoop small portions and roll into truffles using your hands. - Coat:
Roll in:- powdered sugar (classic),
- crushed cookies (more flavor),
- or shredded coconut for a summer vibe.
- Chill again:
Let the truffles set in the fridge for 20 minutes before serving.
