Baked Bacon-Wrapped Tater Tots

These bacon-wrapped tater tots are the ultimate party bite: crispy, smoky, salty, and slightly sweet if you choose to glaze them. Each tot gets hugged with a strip of bacon, baked until perfectly caramelized, and served hot right off the tray. They’re the kind of snack people reach for again and again — simple ingredients, big flavor.

Ingredients

  • 30–40 frozen tater tots
  • 15–20 slices bacon, cut in half
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (optional for a sweet glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven

Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2. Wrap the Tots

Cut each bacon slice in half. Wrap each tater tot with half a slice and secure with a toothpick. Arrange them seam-side down on the baking sheet.

3. Optional Flavor Boost

For a sweet-smoky finish, mix brown sugar, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Sprinkle lightly over the bacon-wrapped tots.

4. Bake Until Crispy

Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway. They’re done when the bacon is fully cooked and crisp.

Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with ranch dressing, chipotle mayo, or barbecue sauce. They make a perfect appetizer for game day, parties, or family movie nights.

Enjoy !!
