- 1 box vanilla or white cake mix
- Ingredients called for on the cake-mix box
- Β½βΒΎ cup vanilla or cream cheese frosting
- 12β16 oz white or ivory candy melts
- Pastel pink, sage green, lavender, and pale yellow food coloring
- Edible flowers or flower-shaped sprinkles
- Tiny pearl sprinkles
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the package directions and let it cool completely.
- Crumble the cake into fine crumbs.
- Mix in frosting gradually until the mixture is soft enough to shape but not sticky.
- Roll into small balls and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the candy coating and divide it into bowls. Tint portions in soft cottagecore shades such as blush pink, sage, lavender, and cream.
- Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the coating, then insert it into a cake ball.
- Dip each cake pop completely into the coating and gently tap off any excess.
- Decorate with tiny edible flowers, pearls, delicate leaves, or pastel sprinkles.
- Place upright and allow the coating to set completely.
