Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat softened butter on medium speed until creamy and pale.
  2. Add powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Pour in vanilla and 2 tablespoons cream.
  4. Beat on high for 2–3 minutes until fluffy, light, and smooth.
  5. Add more cream if needed to reach your perfect texture.
  6. Mix in a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.
