Introduction:
Golden, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, crispy potato wedges are the perfect side dish or snack. Seasoned just right and baked or fried to perfection, they’re a crowd-pleaser every time.
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or grated parmesan for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prep Potatoes: Soak the potato wedges in cold water for 20–30 minutes (this helps them get crispier). Drain and pat dry thoroughly.
- Season: In a large bowl, toss the wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- Bake: Spread wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley or parmesan if desired. Serve hot with ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dipping sauce.
