Iowa Party Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 package mini phyllo shells or mini crackers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) if using phyllo shells.
  2. In a bowl, mix cheddar, bacon, corn, green onions, mayo, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spoon mixture into mini phyllo shells or spread onto mini crackers.
  4. If baking: bake 8–10 minutes until warm and melty.
  5. If serving cold: chill the filling for at least 30 minutes before scooping onto crackers.
  6. Set on a party tray and watch them disappear!
