Ingredients
- 8–10 cream biscuits (tea biscuits / digestive biscuits / cream cookies)
- 2 cups whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt or pudding
- 2–3 cups mixed fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, blueberries, mango…)
- 2 tbsp honey or sweetened condensed milk (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Crushed nuts (optional)
- Extra biscuits for topping
Preparation
1. Make the Cream Layer
In a bowl, mix:
- whipped cream
- vanilla yogurt (or pudding)
- vanilla extract
- honey (optional)
Stir until smooth and fluffy.
2. Prepare the Fruit
Dice your fruit into small pieces.
If using bananas, toss with a bit of lemon juice so they don’t brown.
3. Layer the Dessert
In a glass bowl, trifle dish, or small cups:
- Crush cream biscuits and press them as the first layer.
- Add a thick layer of the cream mixture.
- Add a layer of fruit.
- Repeat the layers:
- biscuits → cream → fruit
- Finish with a smooth layer of cream and decorate with:
- extra fruit
- crushed biscuits
- nuts
4. Chill
Refrigerate 1–2 hours before serving so the biscuits soften and the layers set.
