- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled and drained

- ¾ cup buttermilk (cold)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cut in butter: Add cold butter cubes and cut into flour using a pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
