Pineapple Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups cubed bread (or 1 cup crushed buttery crackers)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: extra pineapple chunks on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pineapple, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
  3. Stir in the cubed bread (or crushed crackers) until everything is coated.
  4. Pour mixture into a buttered baking dish.
  5. Bake 35–45 minutes, or until golden and slightly caramelized on top.
  6. Serve warm — it tastes like sunshine and comfort in one bite.
